is a FUN and EASY new way of supporting Midwest Torah Center.
The Torah Center services hundreds of people who have a quest for a more spiritually fulfilling life. Help us continue helping others. Every contribution makes a difference.
Rabbi Kuppel Lindow, Administrator
Expand the Torah Center to bring more amenities to the South Bend Jewish community.
The expansion will almost double the size of the Torah Center. Two separate commercial kitchens, one dairy and one meat, will be added to provide pizza nights, restaurant nights and general kosher catering. As well, a fair sized stylish hall will be designed for dining or to host your simcha. A large rec room for NCSY will give them their own special space. Four bedrooms for guests will be provided. The study hall/synagogue will almost be doubled in size to accommodate our growing attendance. Additionally, we will have a parking lot and more room for outside activities.
Share our long term vision to have this endowment significantly fund the annual budget and provide for special programming by 2025.
Funding is always the biggest issue facing a nonprofit organization. It seems that institutions are always putting out fires. The Torah Center is attempting to buck the trend and become more independent. A 5 million dollar endowment will guarantee $200,000 a year towards our annual budget. With this type of funding plus our regular fundraising and donations, we will be able to do much more for our growing community. It will take a long term commitment to grow this endowment fund. We would suggest a regular donation charged directly towards your credit card. Remember the pushkes of yesteryear? We have a virtual pushke. One may wish to donate every day, week or month. A small regular donation can make all the difference years down the road. Please make yourself a committed partner to the Torah Center and its mission besides your donations towards our regular programming.
